I remember hearing about it back in the 70’s. Mentioned to my dad and he said he heard about the invasion part (most people did not hear the warning part at beginning of the show as they tuned in late).
My dad and his 2 brothers took off for a week to the bush (they lived in northern Ontario) saying let’s see what’s happening after that week.
Take the story as you wish, could have been true or they liked spinning stories.
Was easy to believe as when they were younger they did go to the bush fairly often.
When I was around 6-7 years old (I am now 68) I was given money to get something at the store by my parents. All I remember is I no longer had the money when I got home . I did not spend the money. Have no idea what happened.
Was razzed about it for years. They said I spent it on candy.
Was on reddit for 10-12 yrs. Had one account for 5yrs. No password so it poofed at some point then I created other one that lasted about 8yrs before I got permabanned.
Decades ago. I was younger and very dumb.
A friend and I worked at a Coleman factory. We worked metal punch presses that punched out stuff for their stoves.
One day we thought it would be a good idea to do LSD to break the monotony. Buddy says come here look at this. He was offsetting the metal in the die and it would mash it into weird shapes.
I started to do it too. Well long story short he broke a 10 thousand dollar die, we both got caught and we were summarily fired.
Definitely a relief. Was only a couple weeks ago. Still trying to wrap my head around it.
Never been treated in my life. Is it too late to try meds, therapy or whatever the treatment regime is. Is it worth it at my age etc etc even if it’s just for a bit to see. Gonna take some time.
Nope. It was the 60/70’s and I had untreated ADHD. I was the weird one pretty much to anyone. Family later in life called me uncle nutsy.
Was not medically diagnosed until very recently. I got tested to confirm for myself and self knowing. My paternal family all gone now but at least I know for myself.
