  • Or that Catholics actually have guilt...

  • No, not really.

  • It's a bot account. Good luck reasoning with it

  • Were they sitting next to a bookshelf speaker?

Almost all my mid eighties floppies still work...

  • I have a box of 5-1/4" floppies from mid eighties. Over 95% still worked fine a couple years ago.

  • How?

    Jump
  • And Linux people wonder why the year of the "desktop" never comes...

    Gatekeep much?

  • Almost all, would be more accurate. And some even unintentional, we tend to unconsciously modify our memory to make ourselves look better

  • So now he's selling shit?

Bummer, used to like him. Off to the block list.

  • I could be wrong it's been years since I played. Just have a memory of wanting to take a break and not being able to.

  • Games that have long scripted sections you can't skip and sometimes even save. Next level, you'll have to move around and answer questions so can't even go take a shit.

Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk both had sections like that. Loved the games, hated that bullshit.

  • ReVanced allow you to turn the screen off?

  • I absolutely love when people troll (intentionally or not) by mentioning Uhura/Kirk as TV's first interracial kiss. It makes me giggle to see these extremely "well actually" pedantic responses. Yours is great! Do you have that saved as a copy paste?

Do you have one for Rosa Parks? You might be surprised to learn she wasn't the first. She was "chosen" as flag bearer for the fight because she had a cleaner image.

  • Tell me you know nothing about Star Trek without telling me.

ST broke so many cultural barriers, nothing else in its time period even comes close. Other than that they wore uniforms almost nothing is militaristic. It was a science vessel not a warship. Money and capitalism were virtually non-existent and when they did show up, they were ridiculed. I could go on, but you should learn for yourself.

  • Holy fuck! Even today you can get a 30 pack of average beer like bud Budweiser for 25 ish.

Back in the day I paid 3 a point for some cheap ass.

  • A lot of blue collar workers went straight to the bar after work 3-4 days a week.

I did sheet metal back in the 90's for a year. Typical day... start at 6, off at 2:30, bar from 3-5. Pretty much everyday.

  • I haven't used the type I linked just grab a image. Mine is a pump (using index finger) type. But I use almost every day and never had a issue with it gunking up. I just cleaned it for the first time in 6-8 months.

Now, it does require some "umph" to spray, if you try to lightly spray it just comes out as a weak stream and leaks everywhere including down the bottle.

  • "need"? no, but I find it helps me use less

  • Ask Lemmy @lemmy.world

How often do you clean your cooking oil sprayer or bottle?

  • While absolutely true. I would say it's much harder to find today than ten years ago. The Internet as an information source is being degraded on a daily basis. The amount of misinformation, ads disguised as information, and AI slop is destroying your ability to find that information.
