  • Using toilets and showers. Sanitation and hygiene are among the biggest factors in the increase of life expectancy we get to enjoy. Yet we take those things completely for granted.

  • Those things breed pretty quickly.

  • Check the YouTube channel "PC Builder". He regularly does comparison videos on most components, including monitors.

  • I don't want to name the blog, hobby and reddit username so that blog don't get more undeserved views.

In that case I'll assume your review was about a massive dildo.

  • The guy was a clown.

  • Of course it's reasonable to cross-shop the GabeCube against mini PCs. But I'm pretty sure the cube will come out on top. Powerful mini PCs are quite expensive. If the price is right, the cube will easily beat them on value alone. But that's of course speculation, until we know the actual price

  • But when people make a buying decision, what they already have is important. If you get a reasonable uplift in performance at an affordable price, that is an attractive proposition.

  • True. But OP hasn't seen a burning cigarette either.

  • My baby will be called Compressed Flapworth and no removed liberal snowflake will stop me!

  • Your guess is as good as mine. Only time will tell.

  • I think you're wrong. It appeals to gamers who want a simple living room PC and it appeals to console people who just want to plug something in and start playing. If the price is right, this may be huge. Also, it would actually be an upgrade for a lot of Steam users so there's another huge market.

  • I think it's unrealistic they'll price it at $500. I'd be pleasantly surprised if it's $600. Above $700 things will get difficult, though. If you can build a more powerful PC for the same money, the cube loses much of its appeal. That goes for both nerds and normies, because those will buy an Xbox instead.

  • Yes. It's easy to install and easy to use. Perfect to get started with Linux.

  • I mean, duh. Everybody knows what these are!

  • Except they'll just do it without any warning.

  • "Only enable this feature, if you're a total moron."

  • Well, that's it. There's no coming back from this. You have to install Mint now.

  • But why would you?

  • So it's basically yet another way to screw over poor people? Gotcha.
