  • Thanks!

  • I think that's only as correct as you narrow your lense to make it.

    Children incur many more expenses.

Adding an adult only increases the total 60$, adding children increases it 190$, obviously children are more expensive.

  • Maybe it's a lesser known cover/lift of an 80s song?

  • Sinead O'Connor Nothing compares to you?

  • The Louvre is in Paris, not London.

Paris is in France, not great Britain.

Dan Brown is American not British.

Children's nursery rhymes shouldn't be the foundation of geographic knowledge of someone in their 30s.

  • As someone who hasn't had a desktop in over a decade, this is looking pretty appealing to me.

  • They're so fucking hurt XD. It's literally not going to affect 99% of the people who see this headline

  • Never bought into it, would never say I liked it, I'm not adverse to it, or at least I wasn't until the USA government decided it had to be integrated into all policy making decisions.

Also I don't feel we've reached the level of "intelligence" , there's a lot of tricks that it can do, and it has vast databases to pull from, but it's not hitting me as intelligent, and the more I read of it's discoveries" the more convinced I am of my idea. The people using it are intelligent, and are coming up with neat ideas using it as a tool, but the models itself aren't coming up with anything without human coaxing.

I've heard it's much better to use ai as an editor regarding things you already know, than it is to trust ai to fill in the gaps of your knowledge.

  • Ask Lemmy @lemmy.world

Why can't we (states) ignore clock changes without the federal government? The federal government doesn't seem to care about standing laws.

  • I'm pretty sure that's how a lot of YouTube game previewers sell themselves to publishers. "Look how badly I can repeatedly play games, I'll do a 1 off and never bother to learn any of the mechanics, and my viewers will need to purchase it themselves to see how it's actually 'meant to be played'"

I got suckered 3 or 4 times by northernlion back in the day before I caught on.

  • QTE, especially when they're randomly inserted into an otherwise action/skill based game.

  • That too. But current events aren't getting the magtards riled up like the rumored events that were taking place under Mr tan suit Dijon terrorist.

  • They were building camps on land stolen from the states with the backing of large corporations....

  • Remember the death camps, weaponized viruss' and population control they accused the left of doing?

Turns out it was projection the entire time

  • Are these liberals in the room with you?

  • I played the demo of smt5 (which is how I know you're referring to shin megami tensai (sp?) in case anyone else wants to experience it) and it was a really fun game, definitely faster to pick up the gameplay, and it reminded me, in many good ways, of dragon warrior monsters and Digimon, but at the end of the demo I was hesitant to pull the trigger because there are so many other games that deserve some play time.

I'll definitely go back to it when it's on sale, and I'm going to give p5 a, maybe not fair, shake.

  • If he has they're going to trot out Arnold in Orange makeup and heritage talking points, then accuse anyone who mentions it of having "TDS because he's always been that healthy"

  • Path of exile 2 is free this weekend, and has a new season starting in a few hours, I'm trying to get my friends together to jump in.

It's not very in the spirit of this sub though, but it did take a lot of patience to get here.

I'm still kicking around the idea of getting no man's sky, but it hasn't dropped enough yet.

Persona 5 was in the humble bundle, I've yet to get into a persona game (tried 3 and 4) to the point of "gameplay" there's so much story than just doesn't connect with me before the gameplay starts. Makes me miss Pokemon Red/blue.

  • Haha, will Ferrell as well!

Except Lego movie. (Haven't seen stranger than fiction but I'm led to believe that would be the second exception to my "I can't stand will Ferrell" rule, and a rule is only allowed 1 exception)

  • Cnidaria (jelly fish and anemone's) stings on your skin are usually nothing, if you ever want to swim with jellyfish a pair of nylons over your exposed body is generally enough to keep you from being stung, but whatever you do don't put your tongue (or other sensitive parts) to one, because the toxin can totally mess you up (generally just major swelling like the worst bee sting you've ever seen, but swelling could always lead to other problems). Some of the most potent venoms on the planet are secreted by the cnidaria, but there will definitely be (actual) signs warning you away from areas they exist in.

  • PC Gaming @lemmy.world

Bought ravenswatch for 12.50, questioned why when I have so many humble bundle games

  • Only The Punchline @lemmy.world

To make a long story short
