I'm mostly interested in video games, fiction, and writing.

  • I see.

  • That raises a few questions, though:

How do people solve problems then? How do clever writers exist? Or how do clever artists in general exist?

  • Thanks!

  • Thank you for your response!

Hmm... I would like to see "how others do/did it" sort of content, can you give me any suggestions for those?

  • Huh, I never thought about it, that way! Thanks for giving a new perspective on that.

  • I wasn't asking for advice, but that's still good advice! Thanks.

  • Hmm... I guess I mean more like deliberately coming up with ideas for more opened ended/creative stuff? Like coming up with an idea for how the main character of a story survives against the main villain's super nuke attack. Or coming up with ideas for what a certain painting represents.

  • Ask Lemmy @lemmy.world

Do people who don't know how to (deliberately) think of ideas exist?

  • I'm sorry about that. I'll try to make a question like that more specific next time.

  • No Stupid Questions @lemmy.world

Do conservative places have higher crime rates than non-conservative ones? Why?

  • No Stupid Questions @lemmy.world

What do fractions in demographic stats (such as birthrates, fertility rates, life expectancy, death rates, etc.) mean?

  • Forgiveness... and thank you.

    Community for finding communities?

  • No. Could you clarify?

  • Tl:Dr if something has lasted a thousand years, it’s likely to last a good time longer.

But will that something stay the same "size" in, let's say, a thousand years?

  • It's just shocking to me how many people still strongly believe religions like Christianity and Islam when it has been more than a thousand years now.

  • Could you explain why?

  • In that they still value their religions (mainly Christianity and Islam) to the point where they really hate the non-religious, and secularism.

Love your username by the way.

  • Asklemmy @lemmy.ml

When should I see the news?

  • No Stupid Questions @lemmy.world

Does one's autism affect their religious beliefs? Why or why not?

  • There are times where I want suggestions from people, not an algorithm

  • Something like "if I like X song/genre/artist/band, what else would I like?"
