White it's easier to start with AWS they will try to keep everybody locked in so they can milk every cent out of their techofeudal peasants living in their fiefdom if they ever make it. Less destructive way would be to try to open a terminal session with ctr+alt+f3 (or any f key) If it's only the gui that's frozen. Makes it also possible to troubleshoot things from there. I had this issue recently. AMD core boost caused random freezes to kwin.

Yeah goverment is now giving laptops students at that level, on a loan basis. Just so that everybody has access to free study materials that are now partly of fully digital.
