  • No android version :( 99% of what I write is on my phone.

  • This thread showed up like it was meant for me in this very moment as I'm currently laying in my sofa and blasting this on high volume and drowning in the vibe:

Afro Celt Sound System - Volume 2: Release (Real World Gold)

Haven't heard anything truly like it so I think it fits the thread.

This album has been with me since my childhood. My mom used to house sit this crazy special house during the summers around 1998-2005 that belongs to a clay sculpture artist, my mom discovered this band there and loved this album especially. It was mostly my mom, me (born 1990) and my little sister (born 1992) in the middle of the woods all summer break in this absolutely dream like house, it's something out of a movie really.A lot of the house was built by the artist dude, with tons of handmade clay sculptures, mosaics, wooden details of animals and twisted tree logs built into the structure. The sides of the road through the woods to the house was filled with totem poles, human-ish figures and other sculptures. We just enjoyed the woods and the house, made clay art and nice food, went bathing in the river and took care of the garden. There are so many deeply connected smells, sounds, sights and feelings in me to that house, it really affected me in a great way.I so wish I could post photos of it but I have no contact with the owner and don't want to do it without his permission.

  • I've never gotten any right wing recommendation. There's something you're watching that makes that recommendation happen.

  • It's such an obvious and simple thing but it really feels revolutionary and high-tech.

  • Ah, the 'Murican stereotype of ignoring the fact that a person might not be American. You just default to believing everyone online is in the US and it never stops being both hilarious and infuriating. You're doing a great job at proving Americans are dumb as fuck.

  • My only worry is the ergonomics of it. They had to cram so much that it looks like the sticks and buttons are too far up while the track pads are too far down. I haven't used a steam deck, but it does look more comfortable than this controller does. I hope it doesn't end up with that feeling of nothing being in a really comfortable place (except the triggers and bumpers).

  • The title sounds weird because it's word gore, not because of the implied meaning. Try reading what you've written.

  • "How old we are you"

    Words hard, apparently.

  • Your inability to use your/you're correctly really puts the cherry on top of your show of idiocy here, it's fucking hilarious.

Take a hint from the votes, and learn basic grammar and spelling. Thought I wouldn't be surprised if you're actually unable to learn better, since every single comment you've made makes it very clear you're dumb as fuck.

  • This is all very horrifying when reading with the childish mindset of what "charging-port" can be an euphemism of.

  • I've had that issue in several ways. Of course what you said, had an extension cord with a switch below my desk and I kept accidentally hitting that switch in the same way, lived in an apartment some years ago that had some shitty electrical work done by the previous tenant and if I had enough lamps on while my computer and screen where on and I tried to plug in my phone or turn the TV on the circuit popped, and most recently I've been playing games via cloud streaming (Shadow) and my Ethernet cable has lost the security tab thingy on both ends and I keep accidentally moving other cables so they touch the Ethernet cable and it falls out. Most of the time I can just put it back in an reconnect to the cloud computer but sometimes it just refuses to do that so the cloud computer shuts down before I'm able to get it working. Lost several hours of progress in various games throughout the past couple of years, but I never buy anything new unless it's absolutely needed so I just live with and accept it '^^

  • As was*

  • User: Add enough detergent for this weight of clothes.

Washing machine AI: OK, I have added the correct amount for you, ready to start the wash.

User: You only added fabric softener, I need you to add detergent. Please weigh the clothes and add the detergent based on that weight.

Washing machine AI: Ah, I see what you mean. I have now weighed the clothes and added the needed amount of detergent.

User: you just added more fabric softener. Do not add any more of that, I only need detergent. Please, add detergent.

Washing machine AI: I'm sorry, I misunderstood you before. I have now made sure to add detergent.

User: you added more fabric softener....

  • This is what happens in your brain when you tell yourself to remember something.

  • That just isn't true. Pokemon never became unpopular, but only had some lesser years. I have a 13 yo half brother and pokemon has been an ever popular thing in his whole school.
