  • It's a spectrum, and in the end just a label. Good doctors will treat the symptoms regardless.

  • It's just a label. You would still be you. And you don't need a label to explain anything. You are proof that you are what you are. Thr only value in a diagnosis is possible improved treatment and accommodation options. For adults that usually isn't an issue. Good doctors will treat the symptoms either way. And there aren't much in the way of accommodations for lvl 1 autism.

  • I have a kid with adhd and autism. The other just adhd, though they did a full eval. They explained to me that severally of the autistic like symptoms she has are also caused by adhd. So there is a fair bit of overlap. Some say adhd is just a different part of the spectrum, though explaining how would involve 3 dimensions instead of 2, so they probably will never officially go that route.

  • I'm not convince that requires video. Don't they communicate out loud what they are doing so the other person knows? And if it was a mistake, what switch should they have hit that wasn't recorded as being hit. They gotta do all that anyway.

  • Does it matter which pilot flipped the switch though? The switches got flipped, maybe intentionally, maybe by accident. They already know when they got flipped, and have the audio of what they were doing at the time. So they can probably figure if it was possibly related to a procedure in progress. That's about all they need. At best you might get evidence that it was intentional, which won't save any lives, and will likely make people feel even worse.

  • The democrates are like the TSA. Theater.

  • I think, based on the question asked, this is a bit more complicated than OP is interested in. Just saying. But bravo for your dedication to keeping info out of corporate hands.

  • Hm, would you though. There is short and long term disability. Some states require some amount of it. And salary type jobs often include more of it. You may get replaced after a bit, but you technically would still be employed until after. That might mean you would have to pay the insurance premiums out of pocket, but assuming you could afford to, that would be well worth it.

Not saying that is how it "should" be though. Just that there is probably more nuance.

  • Yeah, sucks having to spend so much time reading and missing the action. Plus they are AI generated a lot now. And they often get it very wrong. :(

  • An app that can fix audio in movies to make dialog easier to hear and understand.

  • Speedo under the trunks should help I would think.

  • Sadly if I don't vote, my app doesn't consider it read. So I upvote nearly everything.

  • How about them apples

  • Negative ghost rider the pattern is full.

  • I say a home run is an out. Really put the pressure on them. I would also make it easier to hit, there are a variety of ways to do that. Might have to allow an extra outfielder though. But the idea is to make it less of a pitcher vs hitter game. Make fielding matter, cause that skill ahs really gone down the tubes the last few decades.

  • At the same time that would just make luck the deciding factor. Noone knows if a draftee will be good. So whoever gets lucky and drafts that good player or two gets to ride that wave as long as they can play.

  • I'm not so sure. Once the Republicans no longer have the democrats to fight against, they will fight against each other. This might happen as well in the leaving blue states, but I feel like the democrates don't hold as big of a majority in most of them. So they are already used to it. And they aren't so much the party of fire and brimstone. So more likely they would try to do all the social reforms and just fall on thier faces.

  • I don’t think the majority of people are ignorant or apathetic. I haven't met a single person who was either of those. Seems like everyone is pretty solidly on one side or the other. I think most simply feel powerless to do anything about it, which is very different than apathetic or ignorant. I suspect that was true in Germany back then as well. Due to a lack of access to open media, many probably felt they were one against 1000 or something.

  • She's still hot. And I bet some people find her hotter because she is clearly stupid too. Lol.
