Also, it is very possible to create stuff like this on consumer grade hardware, taking not much more power than running a video game.

This is the one thing the Anti-AI trolls can't wrap their heads around or if they can they refuse to and instead try to strawman their previous point, because without that part their argument is purely copyright apologia.

Your comment wasn't removed for being criticism, it was removed for being reactionary. You've had it explained to you that this sentiment is considered reactionary here and thus isn't allowed. We don't allow other forms of liberal apologia either, even if they're framed as "criticism" or "just asking questions".

Also blatantly lie about facts to push their own agenda, and insist or assert that they're actually true, hoping no one will seriously challenge them. It's against the rules to attack and brigade users and communities which allow GenAI, that's a dbzer0 instance rule which was voted on in [email protected], @[email protected] I don't think that ever got added to the sidebar, but it probably should be soon.

Downvoting every post in a community is brigading. Telling someone that their "depends" will get wet in the shower because they are explaining something that depends on factors is trolling. You are a troll, and you are a brigader, you are not welcome on most of dbzer0. Moderators are not obligated to tolerate this type of behavior. I see shit posts, I downvote. Maybe there’s a string of them in my fred and I wind up downvoting a few in a row, but that’s it. No bulk operations, no scheming.

See here's the thing. I don't believe you and I don't think anyone with two brain cells does either, every person engaged in vote manipulation tells the same story. Actions speak louder than words and your actions point to you maliciously downvoting large amounts of items in communities, or targeting specific users. It's useless to lie about this because mods can see votes on posts directly, there's literally a view votes button in Lemmy UI, and admins can view your Database contributions.

I have no reason to lie about this.

That's really funny because even if you're as dull as you seem even you know this is untrue. If one openly admitted to mass downvoting or worse, vote manipulation they would find themselves very swiftly banned, even on a skeptical instance who's admins give way too much courtesy. And you're a well known troll, which doesn't help your cause either.

No, sorry. I'm not going to stop saying things you don't like, because they are true. The numbers speak for themselves, you can argue until you're blue in the face that they don't but we can literally see them, I've posted pictures of the Vote View UI showing all votes on a post, every mod on Lemmy can do this, every mod can catch you in the act. It's a bad time to be an abusive voter on Lemmy.

It's not an instance ban, they're still here. They just got banned a lot because mods in communities were tired of them blanket downvoting all or most content in communities, frankly I don't blame them.

The downvotes felt like a disapproval for suggesting using AI.

I don't think so, this is dbzer0 such sentiment is favored here. Their affiliation with a Fuck_AI community makes it clear that they don't mean it sincerely and people see through that.

Feining ignorance isn't going to help you. Mods can see your votes, you decided that without any activity you were going to downvote hundreds of posts across a handful of communities, the mods noticed you doing this and banned your ass to put a stop to it. Here's a tip, mods can ban you without submissions because of a little thing known as Tesseract, want to stop getting banned? Start blocking communities you dislike instead of trying to brigade them.
