  • In your place I'd be tempted to notice the negative reaction this comment got (the most in this thread by far) and see it as an invitation to widen your understanding of neurodivergence. A lot of neurodivergent people struggle with feelings of being "broken" that they may have experienced for a whole lifetime. It's only very recently that a global conversation about neurodivergence based on understanding rather than shaming has started to happen. Your comment, perhaps unwittingly, hit a nerve. Ironically, it also potentially displayed markers for neurodivergence, in the sense that you weren't able to anticipate the feelings it would manifest. If you are "one of us" I hope you have a helpful journey of discovery ahead of you and people who can support you through it 🙂

  • It's a toss up between Hardspace: Shipbreaker, My time At Portia and Just Cause 3 for me. Three very different games. Floaty slicey boom, cute engineer mining and grapple fly shooty basically 🤣

    Also very much in an "addiction phase" for the demo of G-Rebels which sadly goes away on Sunday 😥

  • Update: Sky did not fall. I did need to mess with an image and put some text on it yesterday but found that Windows has a thing called Designer and that seemed to have more than enough functionality for my needs. Yay!

    I wonder if this Adobe price hike won't turn out to be a bit of an own goal for them. Imagine if millions of lazy users like me who were paying monthly but not really using the software were all motivated by the price hike to review their use of Adobe products and cancel... eep.
