  • I don't think ita unreasonable to do so, but it should not be in addition to the deposit. Should be one or the other.

Like, over time it's more likely for damage from pets to build up and can easily get over $250 after a year or two.

But good luck getting over $250 damage in 2-3 months.

So I would see it reasonable to charge per month per pet, in the assumption that there will be damages to fix building up over time.

  • I only pirate games that I wouldn't mind playing but also hate the publisher, or the publisher makes the games annoying to play despite steams easy UI and setup.

Games from EA, Ubisoft, Rockstar, etc I will pirate with no remorse and then place the launcher link in my steam library.

  • I wish I owned HP stocks so I could sell them immediately

  • Anytime AI has been involved my customer satisfaction has gone down tremendously

  • They will save millions for a few years, but AI will make their already terrible company absolutely useless, and then go bankrupt and lose everything.

  • Maybe because they think one day they will be rich, so obviously rich people are still people.

But they will never be poor, because poor people aren't people.

  • I spent $1000 on my Samsung (S6? I can't even remember anymore) and it's battery shit the bed after like 12 months and the charging port no longer worked unless the cord was exactly in a specific angle and pressure on order to recharge it. It was a pain in the ass and cheaper to buy a new phone than to fix it.

Bought a OnePlus 5 after that which lasted 4 years, them a OnePlus 9 which lasted another 4 years, and currently on year 2 of my OnePlus 13 with no issues.

Samsung could have had another 2-3 phones from me if they had decent quality but nah they prefer to design to fail.

  • Who decides who gets to wear the black hat? What if some random bloke goes out and wears one?

  • I did get the early access and quite enjoyed It up until the production lines got a little complex. A few bugs here and there like employees not doing what they needed to do and the production chain breaking.

I gave it a break after that but maybe I will pick it up again to see if those issues have been fixed.

There was also a small annoyance where something's could not be automated and it was tedious having to do it manually all the time less the production break down again. Like ordering supplies and restocking the shelves. Hopefully they add a subscription service to phone orders if they haven't already.

  • I'm always terrified to write stuff off because I fear I will accidentally write something off that I'm not really allowed to due to some obscure legalese and then I will get audited in 5 five years and owe 10 grand in late fees and interest or some shit.

  • 29 months is too long??? I consider that the absolute minimum.

If my device doesn't last at least 36 months I look for a new company. I aim for at least 48 months.

I refuse to buy Samsung or Google devices anymore, since they definitely did not meet my 36 month criteria. They didn't even make it to 24. Google did at first with my Nexus 4 and I loved it but they shit the bed real quick after that.

  • I really wish it were illegal for social media to prevent users from viewing the website without an account. X and Facebook are still used by governments to post community informations but without an account you can't view it a lot of the time.

Prevent stuff like commenting and voting and liking but at least let everyone view it.

  • Nah, anarchy probably wouldn't have cops to come pick him up at the end. They'd just beat him some more until they felt justified enough cause what else ya gonna do?

  • Yes I would also love a new calendar. But we can hardly come to consensus on getting rid of daylight savings time let alone a new calendar lol.

  • I don't see why it sucks, it just makes sense to start it on the winter solstice as the days start to get longer and longer / shorter and shorter depending on the hemisphere you are in

  • I wouldn't mind 6 days on 4 days off

  • Eh fuck religions, they can keep their old antiquated calenders.

  • I would like this calender but we would need to adjust it so that new years falls on the winter solstice.

Plus the 5 leap days would need to be a global celebration / holiday period, and the 6th day every 4 years a massive holiday.

  • I wouldn't mind a 10 day week if it meant work 6 and then get a 4 day weekend.

But who am I kidding our corporate overlords would expect at least 8 on and 2 off

  • It's a good tactic because whatever lies the Whitehouse comes up with to defend against the first few leaked things might be countered by the next few leaked things. They have no idea what is available to be leaked next so have to be careful what they say.

If it all came out at once they would know exactly what they have to work with when crafting their story.

As well, coming out a little bit at a time means people can focus and pay attention to the details, discuss it.

If 20,000 emails were all of a sudden leaked hardly anyone would care because no one would be talking about the same things at the same time and the details get lost
