  • on desktop, hell no. On mobile, I just wanted to see what would happen if I stopped closing them once in a while. it lags my phone so bad every time I scroll through them. It look about 1 minute to get through the entire list lolmy estimate is about 800, but I am not gonna spend time counting them

  • I'd say it's impossible. Minors will ALWAYS find a way around it, even if it involves government IDs. The actual trick is finding if a "are you 18?" box is enough or not.

  • tbh I don't know the history of it. My normal revanced stopped working a couple months ago and when searching how to update it a reddit thread recommended it. I installed and it's been working fine since ¯⁠\⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯

  • to add to this thread I use RVX (YouTube re-vanced extended) on mobile.I also use Seal (ytdlp UI) to download videos on mobile.

    I've also tried greyjay but it kept erroring out like every other week and id have to re-login every time. Also I'm not very interested in other platforms than YouTube.

    On desktop i use your recommendations, but I use Parabolic (ytdlp UI) to download also.

  • i saw a really interesting video about biking jackets and the design of them, the conclusion is that molecularly leather is the safest material for abrasion and there's not really any synthetic replacement that comes close.

  • since it seems you are not very knowledgeable on trans people I'll start off by thanking you for asking a genuine question. Your heart is in the right place and you are trying to learn and that's much better than a LOT of people.

    Second off, "transsexual" is kinda a term in history that was used very negatively and is seen as a slur used twords trans people. I would highly recommend editing it out for the word "transgender" instead. (unlike reddit, you can edit posts on Lemmy if you didn't know)

    Don't worry about it too hard though, as long as you're not intending to be rude I don't interpret it that way. When I first came out there were so many negative words and awkward questions I had to teach my family about, it's very normal to make mistakes when you've never been educated on a topic like this.
