The easiest way to keep calories down is to meal plan with healthy ingredients. My usual routine that could be broken once in a while when I felt like it or went out was:
Breakfast: one bowl of Cheerios/corn flakes or unsweetened oatmeal.
Lunch: a large salad with whatever you want just not too much dressing (hint: using Tupperware to toss the salad lowers the amount of dressing you need) or tofu and broccoli sauteed in teriyaki sauce
Snack: whatever you want just don't go overboard with it
Dinner: a protein bar or protein shake
Combine that with 30 minutes cardio and another 30 of weight training five days a week.
I personally lost around 10 pounds a month. It takes a lot of dedication to keep it up though but you can see results in about two months to keep you motivated. Frankly this only worked because I was an onsite employee the whole time, working remote gives way more temptation to eat.
I think part of the reason why Poles are saying this is because Ukraine had annexed land from Poland before. Polish Sci Fi author Stanislav Lem for instance was born in the then Polish city of Lwow which is now called Lviv in Ukraine. There's some very bad blood between them orchestrated in part by both the Nazis and the Soviet Union so I can understand why Polish people wouldn't want to stand up for Ukraine.
I lost about 60 pounds over 6 months before by doing a simple calorie deficit of 1200 Calories/day but eating very lean and green. Mostly just tofu and broccoli along with an hour of exercise (30minutes cardio minimum) 5 times per week. It definitely doesn't hurt to make sure you're getting enough natural vitamins in you to keep your system from losing valuable nutrients.
To answer your question: a pound of fat is roughly 3,400 Calories so it doesn't matter where they come from, only that they can be burned off through concentrated and sensible effort.
Wireless earbud batteries always give out after a few months with me. I just paid double the price for good wired headphones like Moondrops after my fifth dead pair. They've lasted me three years and multiple trips in the washer and dryer so far. The bass is also pretty decent for such a small form factor.
Building an opulent ballroom while making sure millions will lose their homes, go without healthcare, and starve? This sounds like the last days of the French monarchy.
There's a regional chain in LA called Tom's Jr. It offered unbeatable value like its Big Mac clone that went for $3.50 until they very recently bumped the price up to $5 each.
Ultimately the material you seem to have an objection to is just an artistic expression, created with the consent of all involved. It has nothing to do with an actual illegal activity. This is just a smokescreen to further the conservative agenda of some old assholes with lots of money. If left unchecked, these groups would likely move on to other things like banning sex shops or certain civil rights organizations (e.g. LGBTQIA+) from using credit cards. How far would you allow them to go with their puritanical beliefs, when you can no longer purchase a beer or watch a scary movie?
Music piracy's still alive here and there. The torrents I usually find are massive FLAC files that have very little advantage over much smaller MP3s though. I might need to buy some really fancy gear to appreciate it maybe.
Jira is so much better than the new programs introduced in the last few months. Almost everything could be done on a Jira ticket before. Now I need to go to Jizz for a work order, Bellow for an off the shelf inventory addition, GroupCenter for releasing a drawing, and SimpSupport for IT help. It's like an MBA in upper management pushed these additions and then fucked off as soon as they started implementing them before it blew up in their faces. Off to search for the next company's productivity flow to ruin.
I've used some non-OEM expanded cell batteries back in the netbook days and they worked okay for about two years before drastically losing their ability to hold a charge. I'd recommend just sticking to OEM parts with proper electrical certifications just to help lower the chance of thermal runaways or things like that.
Suddenly the go design makes a lot more sense.
