  • for me if a character speaks with certain accents I have trouble making out what he or she is saying.

    other times there's lots of noise in a scene and with my partial hearing loss I wouldn't have a prayer of hearing anything the actors and actresses are saying.

  • I live in a pretty rural area, I don't know anyone who's addicted to any type of opioid

    now whenever I visit the biggest city in my state, there's fentanyl addicts and probably also meth and crack addicts in very alleyway and under every bridge. It's not safe to be outside at night in that town. you will absolutely get stabbed, shot and/or robbed. It's never happened to me. But I had to stay hotel there once a few years ago and I heard the drug addicts outside screaming all night.

  • my only advice, don't do it without a VPN, proton, ivpn or mullvad

    with ivpn and proton, be sure to have some other stuff open on the same device to make some extra noise to help prevent fingerprinting the traffic

    with mullvad, enable DAITA, matter of fact, use DAITA whenever you're using mullvad, it makes things a bit slower, but it's worth it to not have to worry about any AI finding a pattern in your traffic
