  • Aruarian dance: Youtube

Works great for humans and lizards alike

  • It sounds like you’re at a good point to join a campaign with actual people in all honesty.

It’s easier said than done, but there are newbie friendly groups out there who’ll more than happily help you fill in the gaps and I think you might find it more rewarding.

  • £30-£40 for me. Currently working my way through local roaster recommendations from another thread but it’s taking a while because I order in 1kg packs.

Usually go for two americanos per day with a double shot in each one.

  • Used a Rancillio Silvia for a shot this morning but not quite dialled in yet, got about 30g in 30 secs but even still was quite a sweet brew. I was recommended the roaster from another thread on here and I’m slowly working my way through. Haven’t had a bad roaster yet really! I’m trying to aim for slightly darker side of medium and It’s hitting that nice middle ground petty well so far!

Not sure if they do international shipping (I’m in the UK) but it’s probably better going local any way. Here’s the website if you want to check them out: https://www.podda-wren.co.uk/

New bean day - Podda & Wren Fellside

  • There is such a great message about scientific method and using critical thinking skills in the modern day.

    James Hoffmann on Andrew Huberman

  • Anything by the sounds providers is my jam. The album with surreal is great, although I do prefer “an evening with the sound providers”.

It’s kinda chill hop but a bit more jazzy.

    $335 espresso

  • There’s some great suggestions here already but to add a couple more: Union coffee & Edgcumbes. Had great beans from both!

  • Time for a second play through!

  • Looks a bit like the old stadia logo 😁

  • I used to be super loyal to brand name ketchup but in the UK at least, the brands are taking the piss with their pricing. Since then I tried supermarket own brand stuff and for me it tastes miles better and I think it has more % of tomatoes vs brands.

Not saying you’re wrong! Just my experience recently :)

  • Definitely not in the same genre but I can’t recommend Taskmaster enough. All the seasons are good but I’d start with a series that has a comedian you know you like in it and binge from there!

  • Not a huge fan of infused coffee personally but can see the appeal. I’ve tried a few “natural” beans recently that basically have the cherries on in the drying process leading to some really cool flavours without adding anything.

One of the ones I tried was this Colombian from Casa Espresso which was insanely lemon-y. Almost to the point of being too sickly sweet!

  • Replying to this with my thoughts as I go through and try them!

I’ve given the Maraba a few brews in the v60 and to me it makes a lovely cup! I did make an error while ordering this one - I ordered filter pre-ground by accident! The good news is is a perfect grind for my v60 but there’s definitely more taste to be had if I’d ordered whole beans like the other ones!

  • Will do!

  • I’ve gone for:

    New bean day

  • For me roasting your own beans is a case of “easy to do, difficult to master”. It’s a great hobby dont get me wrong, but the way this post is phrased makes it seem like you’ll be getting amazing results from the get go.

There’s a huge amount of trial and error and even with the best will in the world you might not be able to come close to what a local roaster can provide.

  • Can’t wait for Hoffmann to do a video on this monstrosity!

  • I’m pet sure this will be my next gear purchase. I do have a v60 but made the mistake of getting the ceramic version which saps heat way more then a plastic version.

How does it brew compared to a normal v60?

  • So good isn’t it? I did buy a few Burgeon tools after watching for a while! If money was no object I’d have all of them.
