  • The book doesn't actually have blank pages. Page 2 is marked 145.

  • #4 is a good thing. ORMs do not make queries better or safer, they make them easier for devs that don't learn SQL or safe calls. In some cases, they have been shown to cause slowdowns.

  • I understand the language and meaning, I may just be in a whoosh.

  • I'm confused, this post shows as just 20hrs old for me?

  • Woa, healthy internet discourse. I like it. 😀

  • Is there any plans for a data migration feature from Plausible?

  • I've been using Plausible for a long time, will definately be checking this out.

  • Yup. Never understood the Bing hate, they got better years ago. DDG is a source in my SearXNG instance, does fine.

  • This would be nice. Or something like an NSFW filter, so you can know a bot posted but ignore it unless you want to see it.

  • DNS doesn't fail over, unfortunately.

  • How?

  • Interesting. I will test my laptop woth Firefox tomorrow, see if there is anything janky going on that would make it work.

I currently have it working with Chromium web apps, Thunderbird, and Element.

  • While not all functions work, they do a lot of things in Wayland. xdotool search, xdotool winactivate, xdotool windowsize, xdotool windowmove, xdotool keyup, and wmctrl -r all work fine, and my "move to" script (that positions all my windows on startup) works in Wayland using those.

  • Ahh, makes sense for your use case, then.

Rather than ST I used to use rsync+ssh, and just had a Docker SSH container running with users in the ENV.

I've switched to WG in all devices since then, though.

  • Quite s bit older than you and I:

    • Hike and/or backpack, anywhere from 3-12 miles and up to 5k ft elevation depending on the weekend (and weather, icy mountains are slow going)
    • Gravel biking, or on the trainer with Zwift
    • Running, though I don't particularly like it, so not much
    • And days I just want to move around, archery

You are not old at 30, your body is just out of practice and your mind lacks motivation. Both can be tough to overcome.

If things are hurting, I highly recommend cycling of some form, as it's way less impact. Or hiking with poles, helps a ton. Just take it slow to start.

  • At that point why not use rsync?

  • The available screen resolution is the screen height minus 48 pixels.

How does this help woth fingerprinting?

  • Can't you still script it with wmctrl and xdotool?

  • Right as I pushed the button, my partner turned off the lights. It was freaky.
