There's the lovely saying that a MAGAt will gleefully eat a shit sandwich if they think a liberal will have to smell their breath. They see a win as only possible if liberals are somehow losing. Even if both sides would benefit, even if their side would benefit more from some action, they must not let liberals have a "win". It's a psychotic depth to their zero sum game.
OP can't pivot to a "no gifts" rule when prior gifts have been well received and did enrich OP's life.
I'd certainly argue he can pivot. He just can't expect adherence prior to voicing that opinion. I'd also mention that despite my personal "no gifts" rule, I've received gifts that were spectacular. With the rule in place it seems to force people to actually put thought into the gift rather than just trying to get somewhat close to my current interests and hobbies.
I have a pretty firm "just don't get me any presents" rule. It's taken some time to gain compliance with this rule. Similar to the shirt rule, I assume you gave some of those presents before being asked not to? Try the exact same approach that was used on you. Then you might have to reiterate it every once in a while.
It kinda sounds like you're doing your best to just live your life and that's what they are so intrusive over. Sounds more like they want you to force yourself to suffer for religion as they have and it pisses them off that you're doing you (figuratively and literally). I'd guess they are very sexually repressed.
Which amount to nothing of he is able to get on a plane and fly away. I can't imagine many countries willing to extradite someone because of some abandonment style crime in that situation.
Do they try to talk politics while around? If so I'd fucking unload on their sorry asses (depending on how the wife would react). One of the most common themes I've seen among supporters is they have a very small single issue they claim as the sole reason. So forcing them to address the full ramifications I feel is prudent.
If they don't try to talk politics, I'm not sure what I would do. But I'd definitely be making sure my wife wasn't enduring some extra trauma for the sake of family. You could try helping her realize she had the power to cut them out of her life and she can be just fine.
Gotta imagine that's a combination of personal preference and/or hospital policy. From a liability standpoint that's just easy evidence for a malpractice lawsuit if one was so inclined.
Unless you are doing lots of high quality color printing you really just need a simple black and white Laserjet. Use a kinkos or other print shop for anything fancy if needed. Could even find a local print shop if that's your jam. Colleges can also fill this role depending on enrollment requirements (if you are or have college aged kids).

Friend checked with. It was indeed vomiting. This was a larger golden. I think over 90 lbs (40kgs).
Not mine but a friend. They had a house with like 4 dogs. The biggest was a Golden who would enthusiastically nom other dogs' necks. Then one day they noticed the air tag on one of the other dog's collars was missing. Weirdly though it showed still in the house. I guess you can use your phone to tell it to make a sound to help you locate it. The sound was coming from inside the (golden) tum-tum! I forget how they retrieved it. I don't think they needed surgery. But supposedly the air tag still worked after cleaning it up.
