Orm are a way to handle seamlessly the model aspect of a codebase. But I agree.
My first big project (Symfony, with doctrine orm), we had to have several SQL requests made by hand due to the complexity of the databases here and there. So we were kept on our toes when it came to database knowledge haha
The problem is not the communist utopia, is how the means to build it will always end up in a totlitarian police state. Because we can't have nice things.
Not sure about the GBA. I know supercard managed to do it because they put an entire computer on the flashcard that was orders of magnitude faster than the ds it was running on
Oh sorry, i have been unclear, but i cannot change the OS, as the workstations are centrally managed. Otherwise i wouldve gone regular workstation and linux install.
