  • Yeah it definitely seems like there's some selection bias in the responses. Maybe we need an anonymous poll.

  • Then he’ll say well next time take the 5 for 3.9 miles, then hop on 78 until you see the 420 then do a triple lane change to the 69 then you’re home.

Without even knowing where those roads are I see you are on the West Coast.

  • Fuck. Yes.

  • Nah I'm just curious after seeing the meme post about manual transmissions.

  • I'll give you one other category - off-road focused SUVs (Wranglers, Broncos, etc...)

  • Asklemmy @lemmy.ml

Can you drive a manual transmission?

  • Can't you do all the script blocking from uMatrix in uBlock Origin?

  • I miss my MME, but if you are saying ICEs are obsolete then you haven't explored much of the country. There are huge swatches where it is impossible to charge or far more expensive to change than using gas in a hybrid.

  • Most of those issues apply to any meat, and honestly even to vegetables.

  • Speed has not been the reason to get a manual for a long time.

  • It looks like it changed last year, but the UK. The law was previously that pedestrians in a crosswalk should wait until it was clear to start crossing, as opposed to cars should stop if someone is waiting to cross.

  • In most states in the US, if the automobile traffic has the green light and the pedestrian traffic has a "don't walk" sign, then the pedestrians are supposed to yield to the cars.

  • It still is if you listen to alt country.

  • Related genres but I wouldn't say it's a subgenre. They both evolved from "string music" but took it in very different directions.

  • Can someone explain the defederation thing to me? I thought that was "cutting the cord" yet I see people from lemmy.world commenting here.

  • Linux is a great way to extend the usefulness of an EOL Chromebook. I would not buy a Chromebook for Linux though. You'd be better off getting a used Thinkpad or something.

  • It has local co-op, plug your steam deck into a TV and get a controller.

  • The problem is that tablets like this generally can't take advantage of the turbo boost on the CPU due to thermal throttling. I'll wait and see, but I expect it to perform worse than an N5100 laptop.

  • Or cheese?

  • I have accounts on four instances that are all still open for registration. And two did have an approval required but I got it within hours.

  • Memes @lemmy.ml

Sync or something idk I use the web interface
