Hey, thanks for reading my bio. You know, you're pretty cool. I'm glad we got to share this moment together.

  • I do, thank you for the link :)

  • I don't think that could work. There is always a song or a beat playing in my head 24/7. Sometimes something I just heard, sometimes something from years ago, and sometimes its some nonsense I just came up with.

Even if I went deaf, the beat would continue. But I'd be bummed I couldn't listen to new stuff.

  • American residential internet prices are a fucking rip

But also. VPNs do not need to worry about the "last mile", I.e. infrastructure to your house, which is most of the cost of your residential service.

  • All training data is pre-processed nowadays.

  • This is the most accurate depiction yet

But "unpaid open source developers should be in, like, 3 more places

  • It would be nice to have a platform/space to meet that didn't require selling your soul to data brokers

  • So glad I took the plunge and switched to Linux. I'm 2 weeks in and thus far it has exceeded my expectations

  • Agreed, I wonder if this has to do with pricing? I imagine they can save on PCI lanes this way, and can keep the cost of components down.

  • Hardware in the cube is said to be roughly 6x more powerful.

  • Nah. Got my whole family on Signal. No issues so far

  • Who is continually proposing the gutting of EU's privacy and data protections? They need to be ousted

  • I hate spotify with a passion. Despite this, there are a few reasons I'm still on it:

    1. Sharing music is trivial (less so now due to link cleaning)
    2. I love exploring new music and the Discover Weekly feature has been quite effective.
    3. Flawless Last.FM compatibility.

If anyone has alternative(s) they recommend I'd love to try them out.

  • This thing is gonna start so many fires

  • I found this very compelling, but when he started praising the current presidential administration it began sounding more like libertarian anti-regulation propaganda than a legitimate critique.

The sources seem good so there's merit for review, but I don't think the solution is "assume everyone has the same level of biological repair ability and abolish the current safety measures of the industry".

Cancer is also not the only harmful thing radiation does - you can also get infertility, birth defects, etc at lower doses.

  • Good post. Will try it out.

  • I've had my eye on them for ages and would love to get a set. And that's such a good idea! For the night driving do you use the light lenses or the dark lenses? High beams are the bane of my existence...

  • I like the UI. I'll give it a test run when I find some time

  • There's another site that sells actual privacy sunglasses (full IR blocking + reflective frames) but they've been sold out for months.

  • It can be both. This is also very specific to the western world and america in general, as other parts of the world have very different experiences, both good and bad
