  • not at all. QT/KDE app. the size is probably due to bundling of QT and KDE framework libraries because usually windows installations doesn't come with system versions of those. it's like flatpak KDE runtime.

  • mostly no setup. 1-2 pillows scattered on bed if not on floor, I use them according to hugging needs at that point.

    I hate the tobacco smell (stink?) and 'hard' alcohol makes me nauseated, even just a glass. I do sometimes drink small amount of wine in social settings, not enough to get drunk. beer disgusts me though.

  • I've seen 10-12W easily on 4K for soc without av1. your soc (intel 11 gen) should support av1. try to play the video on mpv (with yt-dlp integration) with various hw acceleration options to see if it changes. probably your browser is software decoding.

    for hardware decoding supported soc too I noticed 2-3W of extra power usage when playing youtube from website compared to mpv or freetube. the website seems doing inefficient js stuffs but I haven't profiled it.
