  • this post takes me back, I used to learn with Anki for my SAT tests

  • no, it's a direct fork of gzdoom, all the old mods will still work

  • it's octopath traveler 2. Great game by the way

  • I still use reddit for a few niche communities and browsing comments. I post alot and love my time here but the activity isnt enough to replace it for me yet

  • there's a big difference between making a piracy website and profiting off selling pirated content, which the article doesn't mention. there's also a lot of nintendo claims and he denies which doesn't make it clear what was happening, but so many redditors knew and confirmed he was selling roms which makes his story clearly false and less likeable

  • second that he apparently asked for donations as thanks.

he wasn't asking for donations, he was illegally selling roms, something polygon didn't mention

  • as always shitty journalism from polygon that conveniently leaves out details

    1. he was allegedly running rom download sites that had some roms behind a paywall and casually advertised them on the switch pirates subreddit to try and make money
    2. he received a cease and decist telling him to stop and completely ignored it
    3. the 4.5m Nintendo is asking for is the default judgement, not a specific number

this guy is a dumbass, basically

  • Families in gaza can't even find food, do you think they can spin a gofundme page and pull the money from the local bank?

  • we'll be miserable playing deadlock soon enough

  • I'm 99% sure it falls under fair use. There are a shit ton of social media videos that use songs and show clips from the anime. Virtually every YT channel uses Nintendo music from their games as background music, too. Searching "Pokemon theme song" on youtube shows dozens of results so they're obviously not taking those down either.

It's not comparable to them taking down fan-works.

  • Third times the charm. Qualcomm messed up the last time they tried to make an ARM chip for computers, but this time Im more optimistic. The specs look amazing on paper

Nintendo Direct announced for September 12

  • Act 3 is probably my favourite gameplay-wise.

It was my least favorite actually. I know it's meant to be lifeless and robotic but it dragged on imo. And my 60/60 ouroboros ran right through every encounter anyway

  • Wow. This is ridiculous and insane but I have to admit Morrowind looks good in the Elden Ring engine.

  • It looks really good, it's been a while since an arcade racer comes out that actually looks unique.

  • It's one of the only physical games that is actually physical so this makes sense

  • The fuck are you on about, Piefed is just a different software. We're the same user base.

  • No love for Summit here? I've tried almost every android app and ended up with this one. Very smooth UI and full of features.
