  • Hey FYI Vermintide 2 has finally been updated now to support EasyAntiCheat on Linux without needing to be host, so try it again and see.

I also have enjoyed Darktide as it worked with Linux from release, such a great soundtrack too.

  • What do you use as a player?

  • Yes, I think it launched with it, or was part of an early patch

  • Depends what you mean, Steam is not DRM, most of the game is sells don't have DRM. However Steam API has a DRM feature that developers can use of they choose to.

    So what do you mean?

  • Neverwinter Nights: there's a new DLC released based on Icewwind Dale which caught my eye so I'm phasing through the beginning campaign first.

I love CRPGs and Dungeons and Dragons but never played this before.

It's OK, plays fine in my PC, Beamdog did the Enhanced Edition treatment on it.

The story is interesting enough but I'm finding that the game is filled with fighting for the sake of it.

I'm not sure I have the patience but I would be interested to try some of the community expansions, someone even remade Eye of the Beholder I & II

  • Is this like Ready or Not? I went for Ground Branch instead and was disappointed that it seems like abandon ware.

  • This is technically the best advice.

I just got back from 4 weeks in a +5 timezone and after a week home I'm still waking up at 5:00 fresh as a daisy.

So if you've got the money, time, inclination maybe go for a trip to help.

  • It's a cool game, took me a long time to get into the groove with it, and I have to say most of the time the humour really landed flat with me and broke the immersion and enjoyment of the game.

If you're finding yourself dying a lot, be aware that this game more than most has a very specific levelling path to follow.

By that I mean you will struggle to kill anything over 2 levels from you until you are in the later game, and I think it's impossible to over level.

If you find one fight too hard circle back and try another path, the combat may be more your level

  • Cyberpunk,

Finally picked it up on this sale with Phantom Liberty.

Played about an hour so far, seems OK, have to get my Steam Controller setup properly for it still.

  • That brush you're using there is the wrong size

  • Hah yes, thanks

  • Love ~playformers~ platformers especially 2D, although Astro's Playhouse was a favourite too, but mostly for the creativity with the controller.

For 2D I particularly liked the Ori games, so much love in the design of those games and the gameplay yo match

  • Same with Saab cars

  • Once upon a time business owners would build houses for their staff, I wonder how far off we are from that again?

It won't necessarily be a good thing

  • Started the new D4 season, I don't have the expansion.

This is my second season and my second character, I went with a summoner Necromancer this time, I also skipped the Campaign and went straight to end-game.

I have to say I really find it quite boring.

I'm also getting stuck into Monster Hunter Rise, just passed 5 star missions, I'm playing with Great Sword and I'm enjoying the challenge, I think I'm beginning to understand what MH is all about now.

  • I agree with your second paragraph, but you do know there are plenty of good alternatives to Github right?

  • Cool, Sounds like it's worth a shot

  • What's the reading age for this series? I know it doesn't always matter, but some novels it breaks my immersion when I become aware that the reading age is more teenage than adult

  • Yeah the music is really nice.

I haven't seen the anime, I don't really know anything about the series apart from this game, but I hear there's quite a bit of other media out there
