I am tired and bored.

  • My homelab made of scrap electronics from the previous decade has officially had less downtime ratio than AWS this year

  • Windows: creates e-waste

    Linux: undoes e-waste

  • Trying Tuwunnel, works very well

    • Phone
    • Wallet
    • Glasses case
    • Keys

One for every pocket of my trousers so if something is missing I always notice on time

  • bruh...

  • The shortest dictatorship in history...

  • May I ask you what brand was the chassis? Btw yeah not worth the hassle

  • I have some services in my homelab but I never expose anything to the public. For this I have a Contabo VPS hosting a Wikipedia mirror and a XMPP server for anyone who wants to access it

  • I was just about to install Gitea. Any substantial differences between the two?

  • For me borg is ideal. Once a month I run a backup.

  • Synapse was too heavy on my resources. Moved to XMPP despite I like Matrix more.

  • So cool! I love Silverstone cases, they're really made for homelabbers. I have a ML05 that contains 6 hard disks (2,5") in the size of a PlayStation. Spent just 30€ (35$) for one on Facebook marketplace, new.

I recently bought some more Zigbee devices to pair to my Home Assistant: door sensors and a Methane detector

  • Hey so cool! If you would like to drop the name of your company please do :)

  • That's why I don't tie myself to a specific company. DIY NASers, unite!

  • I also have a laptop working as a server. The problem is that the WiFi antenna is in the lid and it just doesn't work well when the lid is closed

  • Stuff for my homelab. Not worth it, it's just toys for adults

  • If I don't install gapps my banking apps don't work.
