Ubuntu sucks. Not because it's for newbies, it's because better, new user friendlier options like mint exist.
I'm really sorry you had to go through all of that, but it's great that you finally managed to get the treatment you needed.
I don't expect anyone to do stuff to accomodate my beliefs, and if I have kids, I'll let them believe in whatever they want.
Religion doesn't hurt anyone if you accept everyone's beliefs and don't go too far with your religion
