All that exhaust still has to go somewhere even with the door closed. I’m surprised at all the houses I see where a cheap reno means the hood fan exhausts directly into the cupboard above.
I’ve been self hosting for a few years now. One of my greatest enemies had been trying to get too fancy too soon. Depending on your personality type, I suggest just getting some crap working to the end goal first. Just a one service compose file or even just some docker cli command that you find in your bash history. Then go back and refine later.
I don’t understand your philosophy of not recommending anything to anyone. You’re a valid source of information. And word of mouth can be better than marketing or whatever other channels are being used to recommend things people.
I’ve been looking for a way to self host a bookmark manager so I can sync bookmarks (favorites / links) across all devices. Sounds like Linkwarden might be overkill for me, but can it do that if I’m ok with overkill?
