    Socialism is an aquarium within which the communist fish (communist nations) are dead but the capitalist fish (corporations) are the tiny fish feeding of the remaining government fish (the modern globalized nations of the world, regardless of stability, technology or form of government), which vary in health and size but are generally bigger and healthier than the capitalist fish... Except day by day the government fish get thinner and weaker and certain corporate fish get fat off the blood they leech. The blood is tax-funded resources like health care, and the capitalist fish which aren't growing fat off the government fish are the charities, unions and the average persons who collect food for and pick parasites off the skin of the government fish.

    George Floyd was brutally murdered by a pig who upheld white supremacy and all the other cops watched in support. It's part of an ongoing reality of cops murdering innocent people just because they can. Cops are an inherent part of the white supremacist institution that is the American government. You will not find anyone on Hexbear who thought George Floyd should "stop resisting".

  • Considering your takes, I certainly didn't assume you were smart, although I don't think intelligence is a qualitative measurement.

    In terms of wars, you do realize that wars are started for different reasons, right? The material realities that start wars differ vastly from war to war. Also, if the USA is any example, losing a war does not do anything to stop a country from starting another one.

  • I don't think I have any natural talent really. Most of my talents come from dedication and grinding my way to getting good. I do think that I might have had some boosts up from natural ability but in general I believe that genetics plays a very small role in what a person can or cannot do.

  • Real talk I love chatting with the cashier and getting my groceries bagged. I make small talk and ask them how they're doing. It's a small opportunity to practice social skills and be friendly. On the other hand automated checkouts replace that familiar face with a sinister machine that makes you do the job of the cashier for zero pay and yells at you when you take too long or do something wrong or put 0.000001 pounds on the checkout scale. Steal from automated checkouts whenever you think you can get away with it.
