  • Just a few days ago, my docker host upgraded the docker engine from 28 to 29.removed up to 10 notifications from my uptime monitoring that they are offline.

    Funny thing is: The external monitor showed they are down. The internal monitor showed no issues.

    But after I went through with the long procrastinated upgrade from debian 11 to debian 13, migrating the data and doing nothing to the compose files, all services worked without any issue.I don't know what my old host did or did not but now it works, I guess? Not complaining but the whole routing thing is a bit beyond me

  • Same here.Read deployment documentation, configure compose to my standards, deploy, update where necessary to align with the update (e.g. remove an environment variable.

    The editing is done on my PC, then I open WinSCP or ssh into it (depending on my mood and amount of changes) and then apply the changes

    Regarding HWA: The server acts as my media server (with jellyfin).To play incompatible media on my numerous devices, I need to transcode it.That action is called "hardware acceleration" or HWA :)

  • Inplace replacing my Debian 11 host with Debian 13 and after completing the setup, restoring the files.

    All in all, I am in it since 7pm (28th nov) and right now (1:23am) restoring the backed files.Next stop: Setting up HWA :)

    Edit: The migration is almost complete and I only need to configure my cron tasks.In total the migration took until 4am.So total time: About 9 hours :)I am so done with it. I came from work, did IT troubleshooting work, came home and did another shift of almost the same work

    butI'd argue that demanding the ~customer~ seller fill out a 20 page form on what the AI was used for (and additionally which model) would result in the opposite sentiment for the seller and customer.Theres a line between too little and too much information.

  • You probably could do it with trakt.The plugin supports syncing watched history.

    But you'd need to do it for every user individually.(Not tested. But at the time had issues with weird watch status in my jellyfin and trakt seemed to be the reason)
