Nerd, programmer, writer. I like making things!

  • It has a lot of useful tooling built in, it’s pretty much Garry’s Mod 2 that feels less like a bunch of tools stapled together.

But I don’t really see it getting widespread adoption, I think the internet has mostly consolidated around Fortnite and Roblox for the types of experiences gmod fostered, but I’d love to be proven wrong. It could be a boon for the recent short dev-cycle multiplayer games

  • It already is becoming a positive marketing point!

  • What kinda smw romhack 👀

After dropping my computer not having wifi for a week, an adapter was finally delivered over the weekend and I got to 100 invasion kills in Sniper Elite 5! I recorded most of the clips since I wanted to see the final stats, my spreadsheet is almost done.It also unlocked the ghillie suit, but I’ll be playing less frequently since I have a damn game to make.

  • Singleplayer games*

    Edit: include non-competitive multiplayer too

  • Arc Raiders was just deck verified

  • Good on you for replying like that. Behavior like this drives people out of open source, people are too easily outraged whenever money is mentioned.

  • Different company, that was Private Division. While searching to see if there were any connections I did find a funny quote they tried to use as an excuse to fire the leads though:

Krafton was not willing to take the risk of the resulting damage to the Subnautica franchise and the Company’s long-term reputation–a risk that, if materialized, would be irreversible, as shown with Kerbal Space Program 2

Considering how that turned out, lmao

  • Indeed

  • It is! The modern court system probably wouldn’t be able to function without allowing emails

  • Emails are evidence, that’s why they’re entered into the record

  • Yeaaah, it might sell okay but there’s no way it gets a positive rating on steam after all the controversy. The people in charge are really bad at their job

  • Definitely agree, relying on sd cards for expanding storage sucks

  • Eeeeh, I think a lot of the ai reports are pretty low value. The article says:

This “medium impact issue in ffmpeg,” which the FFmpeg developers did patch, is “an issue with decoding LucasArts Smush codec, specifically the first 10-20 frames of Rebel Assault 2, a game from 1995.”

Google can pay more to fix these issues, ffmpeg already hits their 3 bounty/month limit.
