  • If someone asks, "What would Jesus do?" Remember that flipping tables and whipping a bitch are viable options.

  • Its been like 3 decades.... bit i thought ver 4 introduced the bindery which removed the per server user limit.... i moved into networking about that time so im not sure. WindowsNT hadnt been released yet i remember.

  • Well remember netware had a 250 user limit per server before 4.0. Thats not alot in corp space. I remember running many servers just to handle user auth and logon back with netware 3.12

  • Swim into an underwater room and slide a door shut then wait for water to drain so i could breathe again.... claustrophobic nightmare fuel right there.

  • 20 k is not that much in today's dollars.

I am sure debt, cars, or medical bills are thebtop answers.

  • Im glad i bought my home 20 years ago..... no way i could afford a 3-2 at todays going rate.

I blame all the house flipping shows. Made everyone think they could buy a house, paint it, then resell for 100k more.

  • I started Shaolin Kung Fu at 45. 7 years later im getting my black sash and getting invited into the inner chamber.

  • And this is how GOP holds onto power. Its cartoonish how simple it is.

  • Mind if u ask how much that cloudflare front end costs you a month for how many hits?

  • Try nextcloud. It can generate links to files like this.

  • I always say, get a dog. Youll walk every day, you play in the park or backyard. Plus dogs are just awesome companions and help with positive attitudes.

Its a commitment, but i couldnt imagine not having a dog with me. Humans and dogs belong together.

  • The solution is to tax any property that is not your primary residence 10x the normal amount. Landlords will pay the tax or be forced to sell. Especially if no one rents it at whatever ridiculous price they would set.

  • My PMs are all about time allocation..... yet they fail to understand what research is.

Pm: How long until you finish designing and implementing this thing?

Me: I cant put a time on it, weve never done this before and have no points of reference. So i could figure it out today or a month from today...i cant give you a time because its bever been implemented.

PM: Sighs in dissapproval... ill just say 5 business days. Hows that.

Me: if we are just making up numbers, sure

  • Yes PM is Project Manager

  • You got a laugh outta me with this one. Heres your upvote

  • When in doubt, go with the Ron Swanson high and tight. Never goes out of style.

  • Eh, most of the old school titles are just too 'Soap Opera ish' for me. It's was supposed to be action and adventure and mystery with good art. Last 2 decades, it's become people coming back from the dead, clones, ridiculous story lines that have nothing to do with the original character.

    It's ridiculous.

Indie books and limited series are my go to now. Even those start to run out of gas if they are kept around too long.

  • You could always just get the entire list of AWS public ranges and use that to identify interesting traffic.... Of course that would vpn all AWS stuff.

If you have a list of domains, you could schedule a script to resolve each to IPs and rebuild your VPN definition every night.

  • Haven't had a haircut since COVID. Now I just keep it long, I'll cut off a few inches every few months.

Companies I work for ignore it because I've become a valuable greybeard, so I get away with stuff like that
