  • You too.

  • It's not free, but owning property is huge.

Most of the city people will never own property in the cities they dwell in.

If all you do in a major city is sit in your house and play on your computer, you could do that elsewhere without having to pays tens of thousands of dollars on rent.

  • They don't.

That's why they think cities are the only places in the world worth living. If there's not an endless sea of shit to waste their money on, they're lost.

  • Wait till you hear of Syd Barrett.

  • I can't speak for everyone, but I get very good deals on my drugs. Way more worth it to me than say, a cup of coffee (which contains a drug.)

I know most people get ripped off regularly, though.

  • The only person I know who says skibidi is 30.

The problem is twitch and influencer-culture, not necessarily young users.

I'd wager a benefit of having young people on the internet is that they at least have the potential to provide value because their brain hasn't been rotted to the core like most adults.

  • It's shocking how quickly the free world is backsliding into fascism.

I genuinely think this has to do with the next generation of idiots taking their place. My generation has been conditioned to roll over like punk-bitches in the face of conflict so they're easier to exploit.

It's literally seen as embarrassing to stand up for yourself.

  • A rating system like the ESRB would actually be a really good idea for helping parents control what their kids get to see.

It shouldn't result in any sort of ban or restriction beyond what the parents are able to enforce. The big-name services will have a rating, and it's up to parents whether or not they'll let their kids use unrated services.

Where'd all the straight-edge people go?

  • If you're doing anything risky, then you can't rely on a service like cloudflare.

They are 100% in bed with all of the 3 letter agencies.

If, for whatever reason, someone with power deems your website unpleasant, it will be taken down unceremoniously and any information that links it to you will be used to find and punish you.

Who would win in a battle to the death, a lion or a knight in full armor?

  • Every nation has a ruling hierarchy, and it's important for those at the bottom to swear fealty to those at the top.

  • It'll be ready when it's ready.

There's unfortunately no urgency because there's literally no competition in this space.

When it comes out it will be great, because no developer is pouring anywhere near the amount of resources into their games as CIG is.

  • How about an over-the-shoulder perspective, for one?

There's no reason why it can't have an in-depth CQC system as well.

Voice acting, cutscenes, I feel like you're not even trying to understand when you reduce the possibility of a remake to just story and graphics.

You should also keep in mind that most people haven't played MG1 and 2 because they're so dated. This isn't due to being unable to play, since they're available for free on emulators. People haven't played or beaten them because they weren't made to the standard of the good Metal Gear Solid games.

    Is Dune derivative?

  • Cool.

Hopefully CIG doesn't abandon their promise to bring native Linux support to Star Citizen.

  • I hope one day gamers start to study the philosophy of art to better understand why the stuff that takes more effort with fewer resources is better than the stuff that takes less effort with more resources.

How would you feel about a government agency dedicated to preventing the sale of fake products?
